Gene was born to Norman and Connie Scrowther on October 24th 1943.She has two siblings, Kathryn Lamborn and Paul Scrowther. She Married Wallace Spring and had four children. Carol, Boyd, Brian, and Susan. Her and Wally later divorced.
She was a fighter and did not want to leave her family. Gene has had so many accomplishments in her life, but her grandkids were her favorite. She enjoyed being around family as much as she could. She spent several hours of her life supporting her kids and grandkids in all their activities.Gene coached and was a certified umpire with baseball, she was watching baseball up till the last two days. We had family outings such as Cherry Hills, Lagoon and Red fish Lake camping. She really loved just seeing her family happy and spending time together.
Gene loved her card playing, she was involved in several bridge and pinochle clubs, she cherished these times to be with friends.
Anyone that knows her, will never forget her Bread, cookies, and rolls. She was an amazing cook and baker and was always making things to give to others, you could not come over and see her without her offering you something to eat or drink. She was the most caring and thoughtful person, always taking care of others before herself.
Gene was such a hard worker she held several jobs. some of which would be old Del Monte plant, years at Mountain Farms Cheese Plant. She then went on to retire from the USU food services where she ran the Carousel Restaurant. After retirement she became the desk manager at the Old Trapper Hotel.
