Darcel Anderson Baber, age 73, passed away on March 30, 2026, after a brief fight with cancer. Born in Logan, Utah to Lawrence Rexie Anderson and Edith Beyler Anderson, she also lived in Brigham City and in North Ogden for many years.
Darcel was raised in a loving LDS family, and she believed in Jesus Christ. She was one of six siblings. From an early age it was evident that Darcel enjoyed engaging and interacting with others. She was never far from the center of activities or fun. Darcel loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved animals, especially dogs. She lovingly bred and raised many dogs over the years.
Darcel lived a life marked by both challenges and resilience, and in her own way, she always touched the lives of those around her. She had a loving heart and a unique laugh, and she livened up every family gathering. She will always be remembered for her sweet connections with her family. Though she had no children of her own, she was loved by her siblings and their children and held a place in their hearts that will not be forgotten.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother, Lance Beyler Anderson, as well as two great nephews. She is survived by her siblings: Craig (Bonnie) Anderson, Sheriee (Vern) Staub, Teri (Craig) Karren, and Colette (Jerry) Dalebout, as well as 17 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
