Jack Lamont Weaver, 88, peacefully completed his earthly journey on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, at his home in Beaver Dam, Arizona.

Jack was born at home, in Huntsville, Utah on December 5, 1937, to Rulon Leslie Weaver and Pauline Frances Allen Weaver Harrington. Jack spent his childhood among the fruit orchards of Willard, Utah, helping harvest the fruit and maintain a family fruit stand. Jack lost his father at the age of 13, and spent his teen years helping with the family finances.

After high school, Jack enlisted for four years in the Airforce, assigned to the weapons division of the A&E Squadron, responsible for troubleshooting and loading the atomic bombs on B52 planes. He later attended classes at Weber State University, leading to employment with Hercules and Thiokol. Finding the work as a machine operator unfulfilling, he turned his sights elsewhere. In 1973, he purchased an equipment rental business in Logan. The largest piece of equipment the store owned at the time, was one tiller. Jack changed the business name to Time Rental, Sales, and Service, and built it into a successful business renting construction equipment, as well as selling, repairing and renting lawn and garden equipment, motorcycles, ATV’s and snowmobiles. In addition to building a successful business, Jack raised cattle, pigs, chickens, goats, and horses; farmed 20 acres, and grew a garden large enough to feed an army. In 1979, they built the family home and farm in Young Ward. In 1996, they sold the business to their sons, to become snowbirds in Bouse, Arizona.

Ever the entrepreneur, after retirement Jack started a well respected greenhouse business in Arizona, flipped mobile homes, developed a 66-lot subdivision, and established a 40 acre functioning campground in Ovid, Idaho. He also kept busy with woodworking, Sudoku, playing Big D, and enjoyed watching western movies.

Jack met the love of his life, Lynda Sue Hunsaker on a blind date. Just after three dates, they knew they had found something special and were engaged. They were married in the Logan temple on November 16, 1962, beginning a devoted partnership that would span more than six decades. Together, Jack and Lynda built a life rooted in hard work, faith, and family. Whether running businesses, raising animals, traveling as snowbirds, or simply enjoying quiet moments together. Lynda was Jack’s constant companion, greatest supporter, and the center of his world. Their love and dedication to one another created a legacy that lives on through their children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know them. They were blessed with six children.

Jack will be missed and will continue to be a much-loved husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Jack is survived by his wife Lynda, and children; Troy (Cheryl), Thad (Beth), Tiffany Allison (Steven), Teresa Cole (Cardon) and Tyson (Samantha). As well his brothers Jerry Weaver and Kent Weaver, sisters-in-laws Karen Weaver (Deloy-deceased) and Colleen Weaver (Eldon-deceased). Jack has fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Lorna Jean, Floyd, Allen (Connie), Deloy, Eldon, Bonnie Simmons (Bill), and Illene Cluff (Walt). As well as his step-father Michael Harrington, and stepbrother Warren Harrington. He was also preceded in death by his second son, Travis Weaver.
