Jay Walker Field died on Friday, December 5, 2025 at his home in Lewiston, UT, leaving behind his wife of 28 yrs, Lucille Reyes-Field.

He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on May 22, 1937. His parents were Jean and Vernon Field. He had one sister, MaryKay Field (deceased). Jay has 4 children: Felicia Ann Amenta, Scott Eric Field (deceased), Tamara Lyn Field and Lance Alan Field.

6 great grandchildren: Walker Rioux, Ayden Scott Waymire, Allyana Waymire, Addilyn Waymire, Ashlynn Waymire and Melodie Field.

Jay was an avid singer, hiker, camper, and marathoner runner. In Cache Valley he is known for his unique umpiring and refereeing style. In the sports community, he is known as Hubba! He would yell out “Hubba Hubba Hubba,” before starting a game. His antics included: “That’s a pretty one!” “Let’s rock and roll!” “Strike on you, buckle my shoe!” “Last chance for romance!”

He will be missed! On his entrance to Heaven, I am sure he announced him self by yelling, “Hubba! Hubba! Hubba!”

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12th at 1:00 pm in the Allen-Hall Mortuary. There will be a visitation from 11:30 - 12:30.
