Jordan Reese Poppleton's Obituary

Jordan Reese Poppleton returned to his Heavenly Father on April 1, 2026. We lost an amazing Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend, Jordan was born March 13, 1990 to Randy Joseph Poppleton and Susan Dove, and was adored by his two sisters Kristy and Kaylene.

He spent his early days in Kaysville, Utah before moving to Wellsville, Utah which he called home. Jordan graduated from Mountain Crest High School in 2008. He was always one for adventure. He enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball. He loved Legos, video games and excelled in Scouts. He loved fishing, camping, BMX bikes, motorcycles, golf and always had a special love for animals.

After High school he began working at Midas where he gained a love for wrenching. Later he found his home working at Accurate Automotive where he started as a service writer and then became a mechanic where he thrived over the years. He gained many loyal friends, especially Carl and Nancy Lofthouse who always treated him like a son.

Jordan's greatest joy in life was his kids. They loved spending time together, fishing, hiking and farming. When he became a father, he became an avid gamer and Trayce was his fiercest competitor. He also loved coaching Trayce and watching him excel in soccer and basketball. He loved watching Kynlee learn and shine in gymnastics. Jordan was living out his dream being a father, farming, and raising cattle with his dad.

Jordan left this world way too soon, but the love he gave so freely will continue to live on in those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Jordan is survived by his son Trayce Randy Poppleton and daughter Kynlee Poppleton and their mother Kellie Wilkinson, Father, Randy Poppleton (Sheryl) and Mother, Susan Dove. His siblings Kristy (Nathan) Griggs, Kaylene (Derek) Scott, Alex and Anya Poppleton, and step-sister Lindsey (Joe) Potter. As well as many other loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jordan was preceded in death by his grandparents Reese and Sharon Poppleton, Patricia Dove, and Uncle Robert Dove.

A viewing will be held at 48 W 1450 S Wellsville, Utah 84339 at the 11th Ward Mount Sterling Building at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. Jordan will be laid to rest at the Wellsville Cemetery 400 N 200 E Wellsville, Utah.
