Julia Beth Baldwin

Julia Beth Baldwin passed away peacefully on a beautiful Saturday afternoon May 24th, 2025 in Logan Utah at the age of 73. Julia was born in Salt Lake City on April 3rd, 1952 to parents, Helen Ann Deans and Kelvin Alma Baldwin. Julia became a Massage Therapist in the early 90s but held other positions in retail and healthcare over the years. She moved around Utah living in Logan, Smithfield, St. George, and Salt Lake City, but her favorite place in Utah was Logan, and she spent the majority of her life there.

In the early 70s Julia was married in St. George to Korey Glenn Martin and had two children, Korey G. and Kim. They were later divorced and she remarried, having one more child from that marriage, Justin Hakey.

Julia was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her faith was very important to her and her way of living. She was honored to have received a church recommendation before passing.

Julia enjoyed knitting; gifting hats and blankets to those she loved. She adored the color purple and butterflies but cherished her family above all things. Julia had a playful soul. She enjoyed being outside and tending a garden. Some of her fondest memories were being out behind her childhood house, running, playing, and eating fresh fruit of the trees. Her favorite flowers were roses, specifically those that are purple and hot pink. She will be deeply missed but we will hold her love, laughter, and light-hearted spirit dear to us.

Julia Baldwin is survived by her sisters, Anna and Lois, brothers Lloyd and Ross, son Korey (Allison, Tawney, Tanner, Kolby), daughter Kimberly (Sherokee and Dakota), and her beloved great-grandchildren (Berkleigh, Owen, Kennedy, Kinsley, Vincent, Nova). She is reunited with her mother and father, brother Roy, sister Nancy, pet Sabastian, and beloved son, Justin Hakey.

A private celebration of life will be held for family members and close friends with arrangements to be announced.
