Keith J. Garner passed away peacefully on July
 
 23,2006. He was born in the family home in Hyrum on
 
 September. 25, 1924, the son of Anna LaRue Jensen and
 
 William Francis Garner.
 
 He was educated in Hyrum where he attended Lincoln
 
 Elementary and South Cache High.
 
 He served in World War II as part of Company "D" 89th
 
 Infantry Training Division stationed at Camp Roberts,
 
 California. Upon returning home he continued in his
 
 father's footsteps of running the family dairy. He met
 
 his lifelong sweetheart, Arlene McBride, and they were
 
 married on March 6, 1952 in the Logan LDS temple. In
 
 the coming years they purchased the family dairy &
 
 farm and raised a large family.
 
 He lived in Hyrum his entire life, doing what he loved
 
 to do best--farming. He has dedicated many years
 
 serving on various water boards such as the Blacksmith
 
 Fork Irrigation Company, Hyrum Irrigation Company and
 
 the South Cache Water Users Association. He was
 
 currently serving as the Water Master of the Little
 
 Blacksmith Fork Water Company. He is a member of the
 
 Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints & has
 
 served in many capacities. His enjoyed his vegetable
 
 and flower gardens, traveling, fishing, fossil! rock
 
 hunting, and panning for gold. He especially enjoyed
 
 time spent with his wife, sisters, children,
 
 grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
 
 He was met on the other side by his parents, brothers
 
 - Ray Garner, LaVal Garner and Charles (Chuck) Garner,
 
 and brothers-in-laws - Dee Andrus and Jay Auman, and
 
 Grandson--Ray Garner.
 
 He is survived by his wife, Arlene, their six
 
 children: Rodney (Carla) Gamer, Lorna (Mike) Moss,
 
 LuAnn (Sheridan) Petersen, Kathy (Doug) Bingham, Kevin
 
 (Laurie) Garner, Gina (Andrew) Griffiths, 18 grand
 
 children & 3 great grand children. He is also survived
 
 by his sisters-- Marguerite Auman, JoLynn Andrus,
 
 RosaLee Garner and sister-in-laws - Rose Garner and
 
 Lois Smith, as well as many nephews, nieces and
 
 friends.
 
 Keith will always be remembered, loved and appreciated
 
 for the example and influence that he has been
 
 throughout his life.
 
 Funeral services will be held at the Hyrum 10th Ward
 
 Chapel, 111 North 400 West, in Hyrum on Friday, July
 
 28, 2006 at 11:00 am. The family will greet friends
 
 and neighbors at a viewing Thursday evening from 6-8
 
 PM in the Allen-Hall Mortuary 34 East Center in Logan
 
 and one hour prior to services 9:30-1 0:30am on Friday
 
 at the Chapel in Hyrum. Burial will be in the Hyrum
 
 Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family by
