Kenneth Lorin Noble

Kenneth Lorin Noble passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7th in his home in Hyrum, Utah with his family around him. He was 92 years old.

Ken was born in Logan, Utah on March 23, 1933, the son of Lorin Mather Noble and Norma Crafts Noble of Smithfield, Utah. He was the oldest of three children. Ken was taught the importance and value of hard work at the early age of 6. He worked with his farther on the family farm milking cows, thinning sugar beets, and hauling hay using a team of horses.

Ken graduated from North Cache High School in 1951. Two years later, he was drafted into the Army. A highlight of his military service was the 9 months he spent in Germany during the occupation working on a survey crew. Ken started working for Clate Raymond (Clate’s Tire Service) in Logan in 1957. It later became Ken’s Tire Service after he bought the business. For 43 years, between 1961 and 2004, he provided excellent service to hundreds of customers while also providing employment and training opportunities to many young men. After retiring, Ken worked as an officiator in the Logan Temple for 15 years.

Ken was an avid bowler and bowled on the same team sponsored by Edwards Furniture for 57 years. He was also a member of the Imperial Glee Club for 35 years, performing weekly at different church services around the valley. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many church callings throughout his life.

Ken is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sheri Nay Noble; his sister, Patricia Kimball; his children, Ryan (Margaret) Wiltshire, Phyllis (Steven) Lang, Allison (Douglas) Olsen, and Scott (Stacey) Noble; and his 20 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Lorin and Norma Noble, his brother Howard Noble, his son-in-law, Randy Dalton, and his granddaughters, Laci Dalton and Haylie Dalton Hook.

Memorial services will be held in Hyrum, Utah on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 12:30 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at 450 East 100 South with a viewing held prior from 10:30-12:15.
