Kim B Christensen

November 18, 1952 — December 24, 2025

Kim B. Christensen passed away on December 24, 2025 at the age of 73, returning home to our Heavenly Father. Kim was born on November 18, 1952 in small town Logan, Utah to Boyd and Barbara Christensen where he grew up and lived most of his life

A year after he graduated from Logan High school he married Cynthia Farmer on July 7, 1972 together they had one daughter, Lisa. Their small family moved to Corvallis, Oregon and raised their daughter for several years until they divorced in November 1982. After moving back to Logan Kim went on to meet the love of his life Christine Ruple in the spring 1984. Chris had three small children Jacob (4), Taneil and Tonya (2) he went on to love and raised her children as his own. Kim and Chris later had two more children; Gregory, and Sherice and that completed their family.

Kim loved his career in dry wall construction, he spent forty plus years mastering the trade. After he retired he devoted most of his time to his family. Kim and Chris share twelve grandchildren and one great granddaughter whom he loved and would do anything for. Whether it was taking grandkids to and from school, or a car broke down he was always the first one to show up and offer a helping hand.

Kim was a creative, and talented man. He enjoyed art in all its form whether it be watching a good film, creating beautiful scenic paintings, woodworking, or performing the air guitar every Sunday to his favorite rock n roll music. He always had a great sense of humor, cracking jokes keeping his loved ones on their toes. He loved his family endlessly and was very proud of each and everyone of them.

He loved being in nature when he could; hiking, fishing and exploring with his family. He also had a profound love for his cats, treasuring their bond and companionship. Every night Kim would rally up the cats to come inside before bed. He viewed them as a part of his family.

Kim Christensen was a very multifaceted soul. A jack of all trades. Devoting himself throughout his life, a man of service, dependability, compassion, a hard worker, a loving spouse and beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Kim will be deeply missed by all who loved him. He is proceeded in death by his parents Boyd and Barbara Christensen his son Jacob Ruple, his two son in laws Jake Bannister, and Jeff Behm.
