Lewiston, Utah: Lorin McKnight Rogers, 85, of
 
 Lewiston, died on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 of causes
 
 incident to age.
 
 He was born on October 17, 1920 in Lewiston, Utah,
 
 son of Margaret and P.A. Rogers. He married Ila Mae
 
 Ashliman on December 14, 1950 in the Logan LDS Temple.
 
 He graduated from North Cache High School and then
 
 served a mission in the England/Scotland area. He was
 
 a sharp shooter rifleman in the Army. After his tour
 
 of duty, he returned home and was married and had
 
 three children. He worked for 28 years and retired
 
 from Thiokol. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping,
 
 gardening and helping others. He was actively
 
 involved in his church and served as a temple worker
 
 for several years. He was a long time member of “The
 
 Oldies but Goodies Harmonica Band” which he dearly
 
 loved.
 
 He is survived by his three children; Dennis (Lisa)
 
 Rogers of West Jordan; Kathy (Clinton) Jewkes of Plain
 
 City; and Mary Anne Rogers of West Valley City. He is
 
 also survived by eight grandchildren and one
 
 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his
 
 wife, Ila; and his sister Beth Schow.
 
 Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday,
 
 May 13, 2006 at the Lewiston First Ward Chapel, 10
 
 South 1600 West in Lewiston, Utah. A viewing will be
 
 held on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the
 
 Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St. in Logan, and
 
 prior to services at the church on Saturday from 10:30
 
 to 11:30 AM. Interment will be in the Lewiston
