June 9, 1940 — February 15, 2010

Louis Albert Kirby had a joyous reunion with his parents, Cecil Robert and Helen Peterson Kirby, Feb.15, 2010 after courageously battling Parkinson’s over 13 years. He was born June 9, 1940 in Logan , Utah . He grew up in Hyde Park , where he loved working with his dad, milking, and working with mink. He loved his Danish mission. He served 6 years in the Army National Guard. At the SLC Temple he married Linda Colleen Galloway, March 14, 1972 . He was a life long stalwart LDS church member. He ran a piano bridge drill at Wurlitzer pianos and later worked as an inventory controller at WeatherShield MFG.
He is survived by his wife of almost 38 years and his 6 children: Trina (Jay) Thomson of Brigham City, UT; Raymond (Heather) Kirby of Tooele, UT; Starla (Raymond) Winward of Phoenix, AZ; Brett Kirby of Logan, UT; LuJean Kirby of Logan, UT; Emily (Jared) Baker of Hyde Park, UT; as well as 11 grand children.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Fri. Feb. 19, 2010 at the Richmond Stake Center , 135 W. Main . Viewing at 10:30 – 11:30 am . Life Celebration Thurs. Feb. 18th 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the same location. Burial at Logan UT Cemetery.
