LOGAN, UTAH: Lucille Newbold Gibbons, 90, passed away
 
 June 29,2006, at Sunshine Terrace in Logan of heart
 
 failure.
 
 Lucille was born Jan. 21, 1916, in Smithfield, to
 
 Davis John and Selma Andreasen Newbold. She was raised
 
 in Smithfield and attended and graduated from North
 
 Cache High School. She married Warren Grant Milligan,
 
 May 10, 1945. They were the parents of two children.
 
 They were later divorced.
 
 Lucille was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of
 
 Latter-day Saints and served in many callings
 
 throughout her life. She was also a member of the DUP
 
 in Smithfield. For many years, she and her husband
 
 Reno, belonged to the Good Sam's Club.
 
 Lucille was musically gifted with a beautiful soprano
 
 voice, singing in church choirs and other social
 
 functions. She enjoyed reading, scrap booking, and
 
 working in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed
 
 playing and recording organ music which she shared
 
 with her family and friends.
 
 She is survived by her daughter, Trena (Warren)
 
 McBride of Hyrum; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Milligan
 
 of Logan. Three grandchildren, Lisa (Lawrence) Sparks
 
 of Smithfield; Brian (Denise) McBride of Rupert,
 
 Idaho; and Kristina (Kenny) of Spencer, Tennessee; and
 
 10 great grandchildren. Step sons and daughters from
 
 previous marriages, Jody (Carl) Krawiec of Hyrum;
 
 Marsha Tarbet of Salt Lake City; Dave Tarbet
 
 (deceased); Ray (Alice) Gibbons of Riverdale; Don
 
 (Sally) Gibbons of Bear River City; Jay (Marilyn)
 
 Gibbons of Middleton, Idaho; and Ken (Debra) Gibbons
 
 of Perry. She was preceded in death by her parents;
 
 and her son, John Dee Milligan.
 
 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
 
 Thursday, July 6 at Allen Hall Mortuary.
 
 Friends and family may call one hour prior to the
 
 service. Interment will be in the Smithfield Cemetery.
