Megan Cartwright Larsen
April 5, 1988 - Nov 19, 2023 (35)
Our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend Megan Larsen (35) passed away on November 19, 2023.  She was born on April 5, 1988 in Logan, UT to Perry and Carol Cartwright.  She grew up and resided in her favorite place in the world: Wellsville, Utah.

Megan was a loving, completely devoted mother to her two sons, Cooper (15) and Kole (12).  She dedicated her life to ensuring they had a wonderful childhood.  She loved them fiercely.  Her world revolved around their happiness.  She loved taking her boys fishing and camping, and was their number one fan at their many sporting events.  She was the very definition of a “mama bear,” and her boys’ greatest cheerleader in life.

Megan married the love of her life, Brayden Larsen on Feb 11, 2017.  He was everything to her.  They created a loving home for their boys and enjoyed creating memories with them.  Megan and Brayden were an incredible team as they taught and nurtured Cooper and Kole.

Megan had an infectious smile that would light up any room.  She was so fun to be around and loved to make people laugh.  Family time was a delight for Megan.  She cherished her nieces and nephews and spoiled them whenever possible.
She had a special way of demanding that the whole family participate in certain fun activities.  She always made sure that everyone was included and had a great time in the process. She created endless fun at family parties by organizing games and activities.  Backyard volleyball was a favorite.  She truly was a “people person” who made everyone around her feel loved.  Friends and loved ones were drawn to her happy, silly, sometimes-sarcastic personality!

Megan found a lot of joy in her work.  She was employed as an office assistant for a local law firm.  She was organized, dedicated, and truly enjoyed her job.

Megan loved and cared for two rambunctious fur babies. Never has there been a pair of dogs more spoiled than Kobe and Bennie!  They loved Megan and brought her a lot of joy.

Megan's family and friends are going to miss her terribly.  Her passing leaves a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.  We take comfort in knowing that through Jesus Christ we can be together again with our precious Megan.

Megan is survived by her husband Brayden Larsen, her two sons Cooper and Kole, her parents Perry and Carol Cartwright, brother Corey Cartwright (Christina), sister Erin Davis (TJ), and many nieces and nephews who adore her.  She is also survived by in-laws Jason Larsen (Kristie), Tiffanie Bennett (Cody), and brother in-law Kyler Larsen (Haily) and sister-in-law Krislyn Hodges.
Megan will be laid to rest next to her grandparents Bruce and Kathy Hurren in the Hyde Park Cemetery.

Friends and family may pay condolences at a viewing on Monday, Nov. 27th from 6-8pm at Allen Hall Mortuary (34 E Center St, Logan UT 84321). A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 28th at 1:00pm at the Hyde Park Cemetery (400 E Center St, Hyde Park, UT 84318).
