Ogden

Michael Willard “Mick” Baugh passed away in Ogden Utah on March 8, 2026. He was born on January 24, 1956, in Logan, Utah, at LDS Hospital to his parents, Glenn Parker Baugh and Margene Bertelson Baugh.
Mick was raised in Logan near Adams Elementary School and the neighborhood park where he spent much of his childhood. He attended Logan City public schools and formed many lifelong friendships with classmates and teachers at Adams Elementary, Logan Junior High, and Logan High School.
During his time at Logan High, Mick excelled in many activities and demonstrated natural leadership. He was elected President of Utah DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), an achievement that reflected both his dedication and his ability to inspire others.
Following high school, Mick attended Utah State University. He later served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in California, an experience that was meaningful and influential in his life.
Mick later married Karen Petty (West). Together they built a family and he became the proud father of four children: Breannon Sandall (Zach), Braden Baugh (Josh Barnes), Christian Curtis (Karlee) and Chammaron Baugh (Chloe). Among his greatest joys were his two wonderful sets of twins. Mick and Karen were later divorced.
Throughout his life, Mick had a deep love of sports, especially the Dodgers. As a young man he enjoyed baseball, basketball, and swimming. His passion for baseball later led him to coach a Logan Little League team that advanced to the Western Boys Baseball Little League World Series held in Salt Lake City- one of the first teams from Logan to achieve that honor. Mick loved movies, books, space travel, his dogs, and especially any information about his kids and grandchildren.
Professionally, Mick contributed to the development and growth of several important residential communities in Cache Valley. He helped with the management and development of prime subdivision projects for Coldwell Banker Baugh and Associates Real Estate, including several phases of Quailbluff on Logan’s southeast bench and Greystone Estates in Hyde Park.
Mick will be remembered for his leadership, dedication to his community, and the many friendships he built throughout his life. This obituary was prepared by Mick's children.
