Olga Agnethe Lodahl Madsen Beckert

Olga Agnethe Lodahl Madsen Beckert (87 years of age) of North Ogden, Utah passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026, in North Logan, Utah. 

Olga was born on May 2, 1939, in Aarhus, Danmark. At 13, she left her mother and grandmother in Denmark to begin a new life in Ogden, Utah. Under the immigration requirements of the time, her mother had to give her up for adoption by a family in the United States. A private law enacted by US Congress made Olga a naturalized citizen of the United States of America. She remained proud of her Danish heritage and deeply devoted to her adopted country throughout her life. Her life encapsulated a brave story of faith and hope.

Olga is survived by her eternal companion of 66 years, Charles Brent Beckert, and their four sons: Bartley (Connie), Daniel (Dana), Troy (Julie), and Lance. In addition, she leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. 

Olga lived a private life, shunning the spotlight while preferring to sustain, support, and love those around her. Her strong will and fortitude allowed her to endure trials, pain, and tragedy. Through it all, she carried herself with grace and dignity. She will be profoundly missed by all those who knew her well.

A private family service will be held at the North Logan Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the kind staff at maple Springs Assisted Living of North Logan and the compassionate care of both Ascend and Inspiration Hospice.
