IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Ann
Schlenk
November 6, 1954 – February 8, 2026
Patricia Ann Schlenk, lovingly known as Patty, passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on November 6, 1954, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Patty built a life rooted in strength, compassion, and fierce love. She spent most of her years in California before moving to Cache Valley five years ago.
Patty was married to Jack Harrison and was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter, Randi Lea Hummel. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, AJ Hummel, who passed in 2023. The bond she shared with her children was deep and unbreakable - the kind of love that protects, nurtures, and never fades.
For over 20 years, Patty worked at Americana Termite, where she was known for her dedication, loyalty, and quiet strength. She took pride in her work and carried herself with resilience and independence throughout her life.
Patty had unmistakable style and spirit. Whether wearing her sunglasses with confidence, bundled up in the snow, or relaxing with family, she carried herself with a natural grace and authenticity. She loved watching The Lord of the Rings and cheering on NASCAR races. Classic rock music was the rhythm of her life - always playing, always meaningful.
Her heart belonged to animals. She cared tenderly for her beloved dog Nickles, kept birds, and never turned away a stray cat or animal in need. If something needed care, Patty gave it.
But more than anything, Patty will be remembered for how she loved. She loved without judgment. Without condition. Without hesitation. Anyone who spoke with her felt seen and accepted. She was a caretaker by nature - always giving, always helping, always putting others first.
Her strength was quiet. Her love was loud. And her presence made people feel safe.
Patty leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, resilience, and generosity. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always remembered in the music she loved, the animals she cared for, and the hearts she shaped.
Thank you everyone who cared and loved her and for all the support to us during this time. I am forever grateful. -Randi Lea-
