Paul Martin Robison was born in October 1973, in Schenectady, New York, to Scott and Jeanette Robison. After battling cancer, Paul passed away on January 15, 2026, in Logan Utah.

Paul grew up with five siblings, Traci, Mindy, Tina, David, and Daniel, who remember their growing up years fondly. Paul was a “big” brother to all of them including his older sister. He taught them to shoot baskets, throw baseballs, duck and cover from his tennis serves, and to play every board game with intensity and focus. All their adventures growing up were extra fun when Paul was along to help everyone feel a little braver facing challenges and unknowns.

Paul attended East Longmeadow High School in Massachusetts, where he excelled in academics, sports, and music performance. Paul had an amazing memory and eye for detail. He was a naturally curious person and his teachers loved how interested and involved he was in their classes. His younger siblings knew they had big expectations to fill coming up in school after their brother. Paul brought the fun to his band performances with his enthusiastic trombone playing. He always played with great style. Paul's natural athleticism and love for sports lead him to being a stand out in baseball, tennis, cross country and his greatest love, basketball. One of his favorite birthday gifts was a light his father installed above the driveway, so that he could shoot hoops late into the night. He contributed to many victories for the East Longmeadow Boys Varsity basketball team and truly loved every minute of it. Paul graduated in 1992, leaving many great memories behind.

Paul began attending Brigham Young University in 1992, graduating in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies. Paul continued on to earn a master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Washington in 2001. He was a well read individual who deeply cared and carefully observed current events and was always ready to have meaningful discussions with friends and family about what was happening locally and abroad in the world.

Paul worked as a TSA officer for just under twenty years at the Seattle Sea Tac airport. During his time there he was recognized several times for excellence. His incredibly high scores on the random test screenings clearly showed that if you were traveling on a plane the day that Paul was inspecting, there would be no contraband items making it onto the plane. He took his work seriously and believed in making travel safer.

In 1993 Paul accepted a mission call for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Louisville, Kentucky mission. For two years he worked hard serving and loving the people of Kentucky. Throughout his life he accepted many opportunities to serve in church organizations, including being nursery leader multiple times. His wife observed that it was adorable to see the little toddlers lined up on Sundays to greet their very large teacher whom they adored.

On June 29, 1996, Paul married Kristin Jacobsen in the Portland Oregon Temple. They were married for 21 years and raised two amazing daughters, Maren and Elaina. Paul and Kristin were involved and devoted parents who made it a point to introduce their girls to the sights and sounds of Seattle. They purchased passes to Woodland Park Zoo, Point Defiance Zoo, and

Pacific Science Center which they visited often. Wild Waves Amusement Park was another favorite. Their family had many trips to the Sound and the nearby National Parks of Mt. Rainier and Olympic. After moving to Utah, Paul mentioned how much he missed the awesome summer concerts at the park in Bonney Lake. When Paul’s work schedule made it difficult to visit with his daughters during normal family time, Paul would show up once a week at their respective schools with lunch for them. He would stay for recess and became a legend for how far into the outfield he would launch the kickballs.

In December 2022, Paul was diagnosed with cancer, which he battled valiantly for over a year before moving to Hyde Park, Utah, to be near family. Paul lived his last years with enthusiasm, finding joy in visiting beautiful places, attending sporting events like a local, rocking out at fabulous concerts, attending the Temple, and loving friends and family with his huge heart.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Scott Clark Robison and Jeanette Baker Robison. He is survived by his daughters, Maren Robison and Elaina Robison. He is also survived by his siblings Traci Klein (Kjartan Arnorsson), Melinda (Michael) Lines, Tina (Kurt) Engelbrecht, David (Rebecca) Robison, and Daniel Robison.
