Hyrum, Utah -Raymond Dorian Jensen, 72, passed away
 
 peacefully at his home July 26, 2006
 
 Raymond was born April 24, 1934 in Logan, Utah to
 
 Raymond Oluf and Lucille Rex Jensen. He married Afton
 
 Johnson, December 28, 1957 in Elko, Nevada. Their
 
 marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple
 
 on August 20, 1975.
 
 He graduated from South Cache High School in 1952. He
 
 served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from
 
 1953-1955. He was an aircraft electrician and retired
 
 from Hill Air Force Base in 1988. He is a member of
 
 the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
 
 Dad, Papa, you are our hero, our teacher, mentor,
 
 playmate and friend. You taught us so much about life.
 
 You showed us that anything could be fixed or solved
 
 if the desire was there. You brought laughter to our
 
 lives and showed us how to enjoy and appreciate the
 
 world around us. We love you and will miss your
 
 wisdom, your smile, your helping hand.
 
 Raymond is survived by his wife, Afton; their eight
 
 children, Kenneth (Maisie), Providence; Karla, Hyrum;
 
 Vernetta (Morgan) Risher, Ammon, Idaho; Steven (Mary
 
 Jo) and Jennifer (Kerry) Sharp, Brigham City; Ronald
 
 (Carrie), Hurricane; Dorian (Devanie), Hyde Park; and
 
 Katrina (Christopher) Mabey, Elko, Nevada; 18
 
 grandchildren: sisters Margaret Anderson, Hyrum; Judy
 
 (Richard) Facer, Smithfield; and brother, Maeser
 
 (Hila) Jensen, Wellsville. He was preceded in death by
 
 his parents and a brother, Dean Jensen.
 
 Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday,
 
 July 31 at the Hyrum 1st Ward Chapel, 245 Apple Drive,
 
 Hyrum. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday
 
 evening, July 30, 2006 in the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34
 
 E. Center in Logan and from 10:30 - 11:30 AM prior to
 
 services at the church. Burial will be in the Hyrum
