North Logan - Robert Glen Israelsen, 49, was lost and presumed drowned on Feb. 10th, 2003 in a boating/fishing accident on Bear Lake.
Sudden winds capsized his boat and an endless four and a half year search has continued until July 22, 2007 when his body was recovered from the lake.
Robert was born Jan. 14 1954 in Logan Utah to Glen A. and Ruth Thalman Israelsen.
On Sept. 7,1973 he married his sweetheart Jillene Branch, they were later sealed in the Logan temple. They spent their life together in Cache Valley where they raised their six children. Robyn Davies (Scott), Amie Irwin (Tom), Stacey Crandall (Brent), Melissa Melo (Adan), Andrew (Rachel) Israelsen, Chad Israelsen.
Robert loved and enjoyed all the time he spent with his family. The family will continue to miss their loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, scout leader, co-worker and friend.
The family would like to thank the Search and Rescue, Rich County Sherriffs Dept. and all the many friends and family who have stood by them and supported them for the past 41/2 years.
Graveside services will be held at the Providence Cemetery on July 28th at 9:30 a.m.
