Sandra Anderson Cruseturner, 72 passed away at her home on May 6, 2026. She was surrounded by friends and family. She was born on October 3, 1953 to Donald James Anderson and Phyllis VanOrden Anderson in Logan, Utah.
She was raised in Logan and went to Logan City Schools. She was blessed with 2 beautiful children; Douglas Keith Roskelley and Jami Scott. Her son was born with Cerebral Palsy and required full time care until he passed away at the age of 17.
Sandra worked at the Exceptional Child Center on Utah State University campus where she met many amazing people. Sandra really enjoyed this job. Due to her health she had to stop working and focus on being a full time mom, which she did amazingly.
In 1998 she became a grandma and loved every minute of it. Ethan and Carson spent many hours at her house, as she helped to care for them while Darin and Jami worked. Being at Grandmas was their second home and they both were very close to her.
In May 2002 she received her endowments at the Logan Temple. She had the privilege of serving in many church callings. She loved the Articles of Faith and had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ.
She enjoyed many trips to Disneyland and loved shopping and thought she could still do both of these up to her dying day.
Mom always spoke her mind and had the best laugh. She fought valiantly to the very end. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Sandra is survived by her daughter Jami (Darin) Scott, grandsons Ethan Scott and Carson Scott, step daughters Jackie (John) Lopez, Missy (Brian) Henderson, bonus granddaughter Jasmin Barker, step grandchildren Eric Lopez, Jessica Gamez, Brittany Henderson, Megan Anderson, Connor Henderson, siblings Kathy Lott, Donald (Chunlan Wi) Anderson, Colleen (Todd) Mott, Chris Ruple.
The family would like to thank CNS Hospice for taking excellent care of Sandra during her last days on earth.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM with a viewing from 9:30-10:30 AM at the LDS meetinghouse at 350 West 700 South in Logan. Interment will follow at the Logan City Cemetery.
