Sandra Palmer

Sandra Marshall Palmer passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026 in Logan, Utah.

She was born April 12, 1932, in Preston, Idaho to Alexander (Zan) and Garnett Bowles Marshall. As an only child Sandra grew up in Preston, Idaho. After her father passed in 1944, she moved to Downey, Idaho where her stepfather owned and operated Downata Hot Springs. Upon high school graduation she then attended Idaho State University in Pocatello Idaho, majoring in English.

After graduation she spent her time between Salt Lake City and Downey. It was at this time that she was introduced to Rob Roy Palmer by her mother. They married in August 1954 and spent 56 wonderful years together. They have 3 daughters Robin (Vern) Schroeder, Erin (Troy) Johnson and Noel Palmer.

Sandra was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, with accomplished sewing and knitting skills. Her homemade bread was wonderful, and her Christmas Brioche was a delight. She spent years as a Tupperware saleswoman and then later turned her skills to Real Estate. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends whether it was skiing and golfing, dance club, neighborhood get togethers or spending time at their second home in Las Vegas. Together Roy and Sandra loved to travel and took many unforgettable trips, including to Europe and China.

Sandra was always beautifully dressed and made lasting friendships wherever she went. She had an unwavering ability to see the positive in all aspects of life’s trials.

She is survived by her 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary (34 E. Center, Logan) on Friday July 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at the Logan City Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
