Sharon Kerr Campbell

January 24, 1933 — January 3, 2026

Providence

Sharon Kerr Campbell, 92, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026. She was born in Salt Lake City to William Edward and Dorothy Kerr. They soon moved to Tremonton, Utah where Sharon grew up.

Sharon attended Bear River High School where she enjoyed participating in choir. This was a talent that she enjoyed for many years of her life.

In 1950 she met Milton T. Campbell at a dance. While he served in the Army from 1950-1952 they wrote many letters. When he got home they were married on March 19, 1953 in the Logan LDS Temple. While their children were young Sharon stayed at home and focused on being a mother.

Sharon worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Robert Potter and later for Dr. Stratford Simpson. She also worked as a teacher’s aide in the Logan School District and as an office assistant for Dr. Bryce Cook.

Her family and friends admired her talents in tole-painting, needlework, and cooking. Her homemade rolls and huckleberry pies are favorites. She was active in her LDS ward and served in several callings throughout her life. She worked passionately with family history work.

Her children are grateful for the principles she taught them, her wonderful example, the home she helped create with Milton, and her support in all that they did.

She is survived by her daughters, Anne Fisher (Ted), Kayla Miller (Todd), daughter-in-law Debbie Campbell Sparrow (Marv), grandchildren, Chad Campbell (Michelle), Jake Campbell (Shaeli), Lance Campbell (Lindsay), Kiarra Miller, Zac Miller (Sadie), Sophie Miller, and Max Miller, and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Don (Paula Vee), sister Carolyn Jensen, and sister-in-law Arba Jean Kerr and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Milton Campbell, son Joseph Campbell, brothers Robert and Lynn, and sister Kathryn Lish.

The family would like to thank the staff at Legacy House, Autumn Care and CNS Hospice for their dedicated service and compassionate care.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 9th at 11:00 am in the Providence 1st Ward, 420 West 100 North with a viewing from 9:30-10:30. Interment to follow at the Providence City Cemetery.
