Sheri Becker

NORTH LOGAN, UTAH: Sheri Lynn Becker, of North Logan, Utah passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 at home while sleeping, due to Pneumonia. Sheri was born in Springfield, Ohio on December 2, 1956, to Dale and Carol (Pencil) Rhonemus. Sheri attended Rockway elementary and middle school, graduating from Shawnee High school in Springfield. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1986 from Sam Houston State University and taught elementary school from 1986 to 1988 in Houston, Texas. She also taught in Orange Country, California from 1988 to1994. When the family moved to Logan, Utah in 1994 Sheri dedicated herself as a homemaker and a full-time mom. Also during this period she devoted much of her time to volunteering in the community with ice hockey related activities. Sheri was an avid gardener and loved to travel, visiting many locations throughout the US, Asia and Europe. Sheri is survived by her husband, Kurt, her two sons Kyle and Quinten; her sister Lori and husband Kevin and their two children Taylor and Elizabeth.
The viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Allen-Hall Funeral Home.
