Shirley Lea McCormick Waller was born to Beatrice Hillie and Patrick McCormick December 13, 1933. She grew up with her brother Robert in West Virgina. Shirley was raised in the coal mining community and was proud to be a hillbilly. She lived with her mommy and daddy (grandma and grandpa) while her mom was painting airplanes for WWII. When her mom married Walter Hillie they relocated to Nebraska. Where she met her husband Dennis and had five beautiful children. They relocated to Idaho and lived on a cattle farm until her husband passed away. She then moved to Logan, Utah where she lived out the rest of her days.
Shirley passed July 31, 2025 and was greeted in heaven by her parents, brother, husband Dennis Waller, sons Mark Waller and Mike Waller, grandson Shawn Munsee, great grandson Wyatt J Izsak, and Son-in-law Ronald J Carver. She is survived by her three daughters, Denise (Terry) Munsee of Pocatello, ID, Valerie Jenkins of Lava, ID, and Leanne Carver of Logan, UT, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She lived a life full of love and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
