LOGAN, UTAH: Thelma Beckstead Bodrero passed away
 
 peacefully October 29,2006 at the Legacy House in
 
 Logan.
 
 She was born in Whitney, Idaho on December 1, 1909 to
 
 Sidney M. and Lela Hull Beckstead. She was the
 
 youngest daughter in a family of three girls and three
 
 boys. She attended school in Whitney and Preston.
 
 After graduating from high school, she attended the
 
 Utah Agricultural College (USU) where she earned an
 
 elementary education degree.
 
 She married Serge Leroy Bodrero on November 23, 1932.
 
 They were later sealed in the Logan Temple on January
 
 3, 1940. He passed away on January 1, 1997. They are
 
 the parents of a daughter and a son.
 
 Thelma was an active member of the Church of Jesus
 
 Christ of Latter-day Saints.
 
 She served in her church in a variety of ward and
 
 stake positions. She has been actively involved in the
 
 Daughters of the Utah Pioneers-Thomas Tarbet Camp and
 
 has served in her local camp and county organizations.
 
 She was also involved in service to the Ellis School
 
 and city PTA organizations.
 
 Thelma enjoyed doing handwork, quilting, geneology,
 
 reading, and keeping in touch with family and friends.
 
 She liked to ask questions so that she could keep
 
 herself learning.
 
 She is survived by a daughter, Geraldine Bodrero
 
 Poulsen (Don) of Brigham City; a daughter-in-law, Mary
 
 Louise Corbett Bodrero, of Logan; six grandchildren:
 
 Donnett Poulsen Hawkes (Kim) of North Logan, Cindy
 
 Poulsen Jeppesen (Brian) of Brigham City, Gay Poulsen
 
 Jensen (Paul) of Brigham City, Karen Poulsen Holland
 
 (Michael) of Honeyville, Joddy S. Bodrero (Rachelle)
 
 of Logan, and Sidney D. Bodrero (Maria) of North
 
 Logan; 23 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great
 
 grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Betty B.
 
 Richardson, of Hyrum. She is preceded in death by her
 
 son, DeWayne Serge Bodrero; her parents; sisters Mary
 
 Ann and Lela Blanch; and brothers Sidney Delores,
 
 Alvin Hull, and Sheldon Gale.
 
 Funeral services will be at 11 :00 a.m. on Thursday,
 
 November 2, 2006 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary. Viewings
 
 will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and from
 
 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Allen-Hall Mortuary.
