Timothy Val Kemp, 56, passed away unexpectedly at his home n Franklin, Idaho on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
Tim was born March 19, 1967 in Logan, Utah, to Val Harry Kemp and Carol Jean Skabelund Kemp. Tim was the oldest of four boys and was a member of the 1985 graduating class of Logan High School. Tim loved the San Francisco Giants, fishing, the outdoors, and any good book that could teach him something interesting. When young, Tim could always be found at the golf course, on a ball diamond, at the basketball court or getting into trouble with his friends. Tim was not one to be told what to do and lived his life as he wanted to live it. He was stubborn, but gentle. He was a worrier -- but pushed forward anyway. He loved, but usually at a distance. Tim was bright, he had an awesome memory, and he was always fun to visit -- especially when trying to recall the details of past exploits and youthful shenanigans.
Tim is survived by his father; his step-mother Luann Purser Kemp (whom we all love); his brothers Rourk (Tisha), Jeremy (April) and Benjamin (Brittney); his nephews Gavin and Adam; his nieces Lydia, BentLee and QuinnCee and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Tim was preceded in death by his mother.
Tim was our son, our brother, our nephew, our cousin and our friend – and he will be sorely missed by all of us. God took Tim before we expected it -- but we will trust in the hand of the Lord as we know that all things given us by God will give us greater knowledge and strength and love.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Logan City Cemetery. All respectful attendees are welcome.
