Utahna “Toni” Swenson Withers, 84, of Providence, Utah, passed away peacefully next to her husband and best friend at her home in the early morning of June 30, 2025. Born on April 30, 1941, in Logan, Utah, Toni lived a life of remarkable strength, boundless love, and a huge heart beneath her tough exterior.
Toni was a resilient single mother for many years, overcoming hardships with grace. On November 16, 1984, she married Guy Daryl Withers, forming a blended family where she embraced and raised Guy’s children as her own with deep devotion. Her warmth and generosity profoundly touched her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Guy Daryl Withers of Providence, Utah; son, Randy Anderson of Providence, Utah; daughter, Melanie (Dean) Murphy of Millville, Utah; son, Troy (Amy) Anderson of Mendon, Utah; daughter, Judi Carlson of Santaquin, Utah; daughter, Tori Withers of Evanston, Wyoming; son, Jacob Withers of West Jordan, Utah; son, Benjamin (Lisa) Withers of Ogden, Utah; daughter Sarajean Mitchell of St. George, Utah; daughter, Callie Ann Smith of Eagle Mountain, Utah; five sisters; one brother; 45 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Toni was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Andrade, and her parents, Melvin Standley Swenson and Esther Scott Swenson.
Toni’s passing is a celebration of her reuniting with her beloved daughter Jennifer and her parents. Her legacy endures through the many lives she touched.
A viewing will be held on July 16, 2025, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E Center St, Logan, Utah. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the same location, with a graveside service at Millville Cemetery.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff at Logan Regional Hospital for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to a local military veteran’s organization in Toni’s memory.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, July 19 at The Annex, 64 Federal Avenue, Logan Utah. Times are TBD.
