William "Bill" Andrew Peterson, 64, returned to the loving arms of his father in heaven May 13, 2025 due to complications that arose from a stroke.

Bill was born July 10, 1960 in Little Falls, MN to Raymond and Bessie Peterson. Bill was just 1 of 5 children and was very loved and adored. Especially by his grandparents who he spent large amounts of time with, helping them with household chores, helping on the farm and just being his mischievous self.

Bill married Kristi Briscoe May 24, 1983. Together they brought 3 bouncing baby girls into the world, as well as one sweet little boy who's time on earth ended the day it began.

Bill was a proud dad, and his girls were the light of his life. He spent his time coaching their sports teams, attending dance recitals, and supporting every dream his girls had. He spent many years working at Deseret Industries, helping others, and making many friends. Bill never met a stranger, and would make friends everywhere he went. When he wasn't with his family or working, he was volunteering as a firefighter, playing softball tournaments or traveling around the state.

Bill was a goer and loved to stay busy. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many callings as well as providing service, both inside the church and in the community. He loved to help others and would give the shirt off his back without hesitation.

In 2024 Bill became an instant grandpa to 3 sweet children. They were his pride and joy and nothing made him happier than to spend time with them, whether that was trips to Vegas, taking a drive to Bear Lake, or grabbing a quick ice cream cone. He was an extremely proud grandpa and made sure the whole world knew it.

Bill loved to joke and get a rise out of people, especially his girls and grandkids. He is famously known for always claiming to be "sweet and innocent" which would often end in eye rolls and belly laughs.

Bill was an all around incredible man and will be deeply miss by many. To know him, is to love him. The world will be a little less bright without him.

Bill is survived by his daughters Betsie(Brian) Jensen, Mycalah (Matthew) Knighton, his 3 grandchildren Taylor, Zoey and Dezmond Jensen. Three brothers, Arthur (Dianna) Peterson, Albert(Peggy) Peterson, Joseph(Joyce) Peterson and one sister Lillian(Brandon) Piep, as well as nieces, nephews and many close friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his "middle pea" Hilary Peterson, his son Cody Peterson, parents Raymond and Bessie Peterson, his ex wife and friend Kristi Galloway and many other friends and family that have been called home and are there to greet him with open arms.

Services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025. A viewing will be held from 10:30 am-11:30 am followed by the funeral at 12:00 pm at the Clinton 7th Ward 1448 West 1800 North in Clinton, Utah. Bill will be interred at the Portage Cemetery (Center Street Portage, UT 84331) at 3:30 pm.
