Zane Jay Ward

Zane Jay Ward, 61, of Logan, Utah, left us too soon on August 28, 2026.

Zane entered the world in Logan, Utah, on December 16, 1964, bringing a lifetime of laughter, kindness, and love to everyone he met. He was raised in California and graduated from Fullerton Union High School in 1983. Upon graduation, Zane enlisted in the Navy, then became a structural welder/foreman and recently enjoyed working part-time as a flagger. Zane was also very proud of his sobriety for 5 years. Zane’s warmth and generous spirit will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and neighbors.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Carol; his sons, Scott (Lindsay) and Ryan (Joshua); his five grandchildren, Molly Joy, Wells, Josie May, Judah, and Ronen; his sisters, Sharra (Sean, Channae, Trevor, Nick) and Valorie (Ro); his stepmother, Velma; his stepbrothers, Jonathan, Joshua and Joseph; and a large circle of extended family and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Jay.

Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories on September 12, 2026, at 12:30 PM at 565 East 100 South, Logan UT; lunch to follow service.
